I cannot hear you. I cannot hear anything.
The concert was awwwwwwsommmme. Best show I think I've ever seen.
The whoever was in charge of booking them for the
free concert in the square changed his mind the day before the show and cancelled them, so the owner of the
sphere stepped in and had the concert there for a mere 5 potatoes. a pittance!
I got in line at 5:10 and I was waaaay far back from the entrance. Around six my brother showed up all stressed out and said, "we're not getting in, oh shit, this sucks!" I was about to step out of line and give up when someone from the sphere came by and said, "if you're over 21 you can just go in."
My brother, the guy in front of me, and I step out of line and walk to the door. We look back, and we are the only ones old enough to do so. We walk right through the door and are among the 10% of the crowd old enough to attend the concert. it was a relief at least.
(There were alot more tatoos and kilts and facial peircings in line than in the bar. I was still dressed from work fagoddsake.)
I felt so bad for the kids getting drenched outside, but I guess the band talked to the owner and they decided to do another show right after for the underagers. So that was cool of them. Well, ok they we're getting drenched until a few minutes before they were allowed in, but still, they were standing in line for hours.
(what? still cannot hear you. somebody answer that cell phone.)
The show itself had the biggest energy and the most love I've ever seen at a concert. Precious. I also basically went to a punk show with my brother and my sister, which was the oddballest thing I've done in a long time.
so yeah. long and boring story with a happy ending. I likey.
